At any given time, ACER may have several horses in rehabilitation , awaiting their forever homes. Some of these horses will find their new homes very easily, but others -- particularly those with special needs or issues -- may be in  care for a very long time. ACER is devoted to caring for these horses as long as necessary, because we won't place a horse into a situation that's not ideal for both the horse and the new adopter. Long term care is costly, but when it comes to the well-being of the horses we have made commitments to, we really don't have any other options.

One of the most popular ways of supporting ACER is through our sponsorship program.  Maybe you have always dreamed of owning a horse but for some reason that dream has yet to be realized.  You can keep that dream alive by sponsoring a ANOTHER CHANCE EQUINE RESCUE horse.

We quite often have several horses that are long time residents due to their special care needs, injuries or abuse.  Some of the horses that arrive at Another Chance are in need of special care - vet & farrier care, medicine, supplements or just time to recover & rehabilitate.  Regardless of their condition we are committed to allowing them to live in a stress free and safe environment until such time as we deem them ready to go to new homes.  Some of these horses require extensive care and having more than one sponsor is a wonderful gift, so please consider being a sponsor for one of our wonderful horses.
