Specializes in finding appropriate homes for horses. Some horses need to be rehabilitated or retrained first, some come in
with no problems, just in need of a new home. Our goal is not just to adopt them out but to find a home in which they will
really excel. All homes must qualify and have at least a workable amount of horse experience, but we go
beyond that, making sure that the adopter can completely handle the horse they want and have the right
personality for the horse. We feel it is the best way to insure a good future for the horse
and adopter.
People
are sometimes amazed at the quality of horses that many times end up in rescue, most of them are not actually abused some are just neglected and look great again within a short time and many just need new homes and their owners trust
us to find them a suitable person for a variety of reasons. We get a variety of horses,
from Quarter Horses, Appaloosas
and Welsh ponies to warmbloods and drafts. Other breeds
we have helped to find homes for include, Thoroughbred, Standardbred, Paint, Miniature horse and POA. We have adopted out horses that now compete
in barrels, roping, dressage, cross country jumping, hunter and also have placed trail, pleasure and lesson
horses. And of course some are just companion horses, and pets. Take a look and
see if what we have might suit your needs. Not only are rescues typically more truthful to the
buyer or adopter.....but you are helping a good cause by supporting them.
You can't measure a book by its cover, or a horse by its color.
While many of our adoptable horses are gorgeous to look at, they might not be right for your situation. Our goal is to find
the perfect horse that fits right in to your lifestyle, your home and your heart. These pictures, therefore, are just to give
you a basic idea of the choices. When you're ready, you'll need to visit with us,and do some riding and grooming and see if
your ideal horse is available. There are times when we receive
a lot of horses and other times when the choices are few. Check back often to see what we have available.
Please remember just because a horse may not look as perfect as you would like. Please
don't walk away, you could be passing up the best friend of your life..

AND OLDER HORSES~
Our older horses quite often cannot be ridden. They are companion animals
who need someone who will care for them throughout the remainder of their lives. Most often they are sweet,
trusting, and loving animals that have advanced in age or have worked hard throughout their life. Usually they are non-rideable
and make excellent friends for other horses. As a Companion, these horses need the opportunity to live the rest of their
days with a caring and loving family.

The sweetest of things always have special needs. If you choose to care for a special
needs horse, please be prepared to provide that extra attention and care needed. These horses will depend on you for it.

riding, we can match you with a suitable partner for you to have many adventures with for years to come.Or if you just want
a companion to love and hug? Small horses were meant for hugging.
